Do I have to live in Bend?
No. Members come from all over Central Oregon, including Bend, Redmond, Sisters, Sunriver, La Pine, Prineville, Madras, and nearby towns. We also welcome people who live in other parts of Oregon, such as Portland, to join and participate in our online activities, such as movie nights, gaming, and a book club.
What kind of events do you do?
Weekly in-person meetups like breweries, hikes, and trivia nights, plus weekly online game nights in voice chat playing Jackbox and other group games.
How are meetups chosen?
The community votes on them. Each week members pick what the group does, so meetups are things people actually want to go to.
I'm nervous about meeting strangers. Is this for me?
Definitely. Lots of members start by chatting in the server or joining an online game night before going to an in-person meetup. There's no pressure to show up anywhere until you're comfortable.
Is the server moderated?
Yes. The Bend Zone is actively moderated by real people. We keep it welcoming, inclusive, and drama-free.
